Welcome... |
Welcome to Division 3's Acts of Kindness tracking site. Hopefully this site will be used for many years as our acts of kindness get passed on throughout the neighbourhood, community, province and beyond. Over the years, this class has taken on fund-raising for many causes like Sunpeaks Search and Rescue, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Red Cross following the 2004 Tsunami. We have also donated money to 2 young families whose children were battling cancer. With all the trips to Vancouver and the loss of their work income while they took time off to care for their sick ones they found their finances had become very restricted. Raising money was easy, and the feeling they got from helping others is priceless! We have performed random acts of kindness by handing our flowers and notes in our neighbourhood as a class, but also helping out around our homes and school. We look for someone in need in the playground or hallways and give them a hand or a smile. It is so easy! ANYONE CAN DO IT!! EVERYONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Our New Project |
On Monday, January 28, 2008 some students from our class met with the School Board to make a presentation on Random Acts of Kindness. At the end, we presented them with a book we had made and a 'medallion'. The medallion had this website on it and the message to pass on the kindness. That's how you got here. Everyone who performs an act of kindness will hopefully remember to pass on the medallion and ask the recipient to come to the website to relay what kindness was done. Once this information is logged in, the kindness then gets passed on. There is a guest book link on the upper left side of this page in among the blue leaves. . . |
PASS IT ON |
Sign our guest book (click POST) and tell us: 1. Who performed the kindness for you 2. When and where it happened 3. What did they do? *** We hope to track the ripple of kindness and see where it leads. NOW - it's your turn to find someone and PASS IT ON!! |
